Computer maker HP has launched two ‘thin and light’ notebooks in Andhra Pradesh.
“We see strong potential for this segment of market and our new thin & light range will play a significant role in growing our business,’’ Mr Vinay Awasthi, Senior Director, Products & Marketing, HP India, told newspersons here on Wednesday.
The models, ultrabook and sleekbook, are priced at around Rs 41,000 and Rs 50,000, respectively.
About one million notebooks are sold in India per annum. “On the consumer side, the focus is on mobility and this segment is bound to grow further,’’ Mr Awasthi said.
