Mudra for sound sleep.


Shakti Mudra is performed to cure insomnia and get rid of the problems with sleeping. In this Mudra, the ring fingers and the little fingers of both hands are placed together. While practicing this Mudra, proper focus and concentration should be given to the breathing process in the pelvic area and the exhalation should be lagged. Shakti mudra is done three times a day for 12-15 minutes. If the problem is acute, then the practitioner can go on exercising it as needed or until the desired outcome is achieved. The Shakti Mudra escalates the respiratory impulse in the lower chest area. The breathing is increasingly perceived in the pelvic area. This Mudra provides a soothing and calming effect so that it assists to sound sleep. But the practitioner should be cautious while performing Shakti Mudra as it has a side effect. If the Mudra is practiced for a long time or done too often, it may result in lethargic tendencies. Shakti Mudra can pleasantly relax the pelvic area of an individual.

  1. Great post for those who have sleeping issue and like to add create your sleep issue and workout daily and early for better sleep. To deal with obvious sleep disturbances, check your medication. Avoid taking anything at least an hour before going to bed and quit caffeine, cigarette and other stimulants.
