Dharapuram is my home Land in the district Tirupur of Tamil Nadu,India.It spreads approximately over an area of 40 kilo meters radius.It is situated on the banks of river Amaravathi. Agriculture is mainly done here .The main source of water is by River Amravathi and PAP canal. Paddy is the main crop.Besides paddy sugar cane,banana,Millet's, groundnut are grown in irrigated areas and pulses in the rain fed areas and also cattle growing gives the secondary for Farmers. My town is a very good educational centre.
It is having lot Wind mills because it is straight to Pal ghat gap.Wind flows for ten months in a year.Apart from all our town is very calm city for residing and for leading
happy and healthy life.It is with lot of pilgrim centres like Temples , mosques & church to worship.The Lord Hanumandth is one among them. Moringa ,Tomato,Brinjal,Chile,Beans,Beet root &onion vegetables are cultivated and exported to other parts of the county.Coconut is one of the main commercial widely cultivated.Besides Gloriosa suberbha widely cultivated and its seed is exported.Key word:moringa,tomato,coconut, onion,Gloriosa suberbha seed
